The Achievers are an award winning, international touring band from Gloucestershire that play Americana, Gospel-Blues & Roots-Rock and they’re making their way to #folkestonemusictown for the first time EVER!!
On this 14 night tour of the West Country down to the South they play all the venues you’d expect of a class, established roots American outfit & The Chambers is thrilled to be added to that list for the band!
By way of making this a superior night of entertainment for y’all we’ve managed to coincide the ACHIEVERS appearance with the huge tour of one of our all time favourites – ‘BIG JOE BONE’ – AND we’ve the considerable talents of GREG BRICE too!
So you get three shows on the bill for an amazing night of live music!
Over their 10 years together, the Achievers have gone from casual, improvised gigs in rural pub corners to being one of the most respected and in-demand bands on the UK and European Blues & Roots scene.
With a reputation for innovation and originality they have been headlining stages internationally performing their unique, artfully crafted, concise Roots-Rock.
Embracing the sounds and styles found on the fringes of blues traditions, they have been surprising audiences and critics alike with their infectious rhythms, joyful melodies and lush four-part harmonies.
The Achievers stand proudly as British Blues & Roots outliers, never quite fitting into one box or another β but always offering a truly professional, unique, and highly entertaining night of original music.
We can’t wait to welcome yet another NEW BAND to Folkestone, to give you more choice and bigger musical horizons to explore!!
