TOM HINGLEY Solo Show! In Folkestone!!

Tom Hingley has a UK music history and discography – both with bands and solo – that reads like whole the stable of some records labels artists combined!

The former front man of Madchester legends ‘The Inspiral Carpets’ has not stopped creating music since leaving the carpets finally in 2011 after various forays with the band since 1989.

He’s released over a dozen albums outside of the Carpets and released singles (at least one!) each year from pre 90’s to just short of the 2000’s but always keeping his toe in the ring with albums released right up to ‘Hymns For the Hungry’ in 2020.

This is the first outing for Tom at The Chambers and to say we’re stoked about the gig is not anywhere close.

Expect a night mixed with Toms considerable catalogue of originals and some hits that folks of a ‘certain age’ would find INSTANTLY recognisable 🙂

Looking forward to this night VERY much & it’ll kick Dec’ off just right! We promise not to mention Xmas all night ♥

Yes, it’s ticketed…but pleeeease check out our considerate ticket pricing structure as it makes it VERY accessible for all to attend live music in these ruff times – AND also allows those that are more able to support live music & live music venues to do so too with full price general release tickets (which tbh are STILL cheap!).
It’s a cool way to do your bit AND see outstanding live artistes on your doorstep!

“The Chambers is Folkestone’s oldest established ‘Grass Root Music Venue’ now in it’s 25th year. If you like ‘The Cavern’…you’ll like us!
We host regional, national & international artistes, DJ, art & events in an all inclusive award winning bar, eatery & venue with a great sound system.
We’ve been supported through lock down by by Arts Council England, who consider us ‘Culturally Significant’… ♥”
